PolyWood Plastic is made of plastic shopping bags,tubs, softdrink bottles, crates, drums, car bumpers and other such as household and industrial products.

In application where wood (even treated wood) has a relatively short life, PolyWood Plastic lasts: it withstands humidity, contact with seawater, many chemicals and solvents, even animal urine. PolyWood Plastic does not conduct electricity.Results of accelerated tests for ultra violet ray resistance give PolyWood Plastic a lifespan in excess of 60 years in outdoor applications.

PolyWood Plastic looks similar to wood, but is stronger, longer lasting and maintenance free.Unlike wood,it is rot-proof and weather-resistant.It will also not be destroyed by either insects such as white ants or by fungi and bacteria.

Polywood Plastic does not splinter. It can be drilled and sawn in the same way as wood. PolyWood Plastic is more flexible than wood. This means that normal wood support spans must be reduced by about 40% when using PolyWood.
